Technical Content optimisation specialist

We’re looking for a content optimisation specialist in our London office to analyse our clients’ websites and content to come up with the best solutions to their problems. You need to be a Google Analytics expert and love problem- solving.

Your role

  • Analyse new clients’ websites to identify outstanding online marketing and Google Analytics problems and performance baselines.

  • Using the above, analyse and write health check reports for each new client.

  • Implement & manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for client accounts.

  • Monitor the performance of client sites, and provide and interpret both raw data and reports, including data segmentation

  • Help clients and account managers to address online marketing issues and other performance issues by providing expert information and problem solving services.

  • Assess technology function within the data analysis team and keep abreast of the latest technologies within the analytics sphere

What are we looking for?

  • 2 years experience working with Google Analytics

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not essential.

  • Working knowledge of HTML

  • Basic understanding of statistics

  • Report-writing skills

  • Ideally experience worked in a busy agency environment

  • Ability to assess data analysis software and align with requirements

It would be great if you also had:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or data analysis

  • Experience of other web analytics software (KISS metrics, Moz analytics, Omniture etc)

  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification

  • Javascript knowledge, particularly in relation to Google Tag Manager

  • Understanding of Python and JSON data structures

  • Online marketing experience in general - preferred, but not essential as extensive on the job training will be provided

  • Experience in statistical analysis

  • Data visualisation
